Mah Jong or Mah Jongg is the traditional Chinese tile game now played the world over. Similar to rummy, the game of mah jong is easier to play than at first appears and is highly aesthetic to boot. You'll soon be addicted.

Racks are often requested by people who possess a set of tiles without. The Mah Jong racks shown to the left are 36cm (14 inches) long. The depth of the ledge where you would put your tiles is approximately 1cm.

We can also obtain slightly longer racks (41cm, 16 inches) in black but these work out to be much more expensive. The ledge is much thinner too at only 4mm approx so may not be suitable for chunky tiles.
