This is another great example of a Northamptonshire Skittles Table for the play of Hood Skittles. This particular table was was in use right up until the time it was pulled out of it's most recent home in a pub in Leicestershire. The table is in reasonable condition. The woodwork and leather are in good condition and although obviously affected by ordinary wear and tear there are no significant defects. The net however, although useable, has a few holes and repairs and could do with replacing. We seller doesn't have any information as to the manufacturer. We can't tell for sure but we think that the table is a Peppers table - judging from the net style and the wooden cushion tops. Peppers tables are the best and most robust tables ever made and before they stopped making them, a new table might have cost £2000. The table comes with a full set of pins and cheeses (in used but useable condition). SOLD Feb 2008 Dimension: Floor to top of net = 69 inches; Front to back = 54 inches; Width = 37inches; Floor to top of side = 36 inches; Skittles are 6 inches high. The table must be collected from near Long Buckby, Northamptonshire, NN6.
