This Bar Billiards table was reconditioned by Bar Billiards Ltd. experts in refurbishment of these tables, in 2003. It is a Jelkes Bar Billiards table almost certainly made during the the 1930s. Jelkes are the finest examples of Bar Billiards tables ever made - the tables are very robust, made from solid wood but are also a most elegant piece of furniture. The table should hold or increase its value over time and can serve to greatly enhance the look of a room.
This Jelkes Bar Billiards table has hardly been played since it was obtained in 2003 and so is generally in excellent condition but the timberwork has sustained a few cosmetic scratches since - these can just be seen in the pictures.
The clock mechanism works well and is set to 'free play'. This means that no coin is required but the bar at the front still need to be pulled out in order to start the game. Includes 2 cues, a 4 lane brass-appointed scoreboard, 1 red ball and 7 white balls, a key and a rule sheet. The table includes one black and 2 white skittles which is the norm for these tables. There are also some mushroom skittles with the table - these are just an unnecessary bonus!
