Garlando World Champion
(Open Top) Football Table
Garlando was founded in 1954 at Spinetta Marengo - a small village near Alessandria - by Renato Garlando and it remains a family business today. From the 1970s, Garlando have been considered a world leader in football tables and are often the de facto choice for competitions around the world including those organised by the ITSF (International Table Soccer Federation) who are responsible for the table football World Cup.

Tailored on the professional players’ requirements, World Champion is the latest version of a competition model which is already a classic in the world tournament panorama. First released in 2004 in the wake of the Deluxe World Champion, (the special table used for the first editions of the Vienna Garlando Weltmeisterschaft), World Champion comes out with completely new features, to better answer the requirements of players taking part in competitions.
Coin-operated, pay-to-play mechanism for pubs and clubs. Coin-box is accessible only by opening up the whole table which is locked with a key. The sturdy cabinet structure, further reinforced, remains stable and compact even during the most hard fought matches. The playfield corners and the bar rubbers eliminate any dead zones, while the goals, totally renewed in shape and materials, allow you to obtain more regular ball trajectories. With the new World Champion counting the goals scored becomes easier, thanks to the competition counters, which also mark the sets and games played.

History of Table Football
Table football, also known as foosball, is a table-top version of soccer invented by Alejandro Finisterre from Galicia, Spain. Finisterre was injured in the Spanish Civil War as a child and, unable to play football as he would have liked, he came up with the idea of an indoor version of the game that could be played without feet.
Finisterre patented the idea in 1937 but unfortunately lost the documentary evidence of this while escaping from Spain in a storm during the time of the Spanish fascist coup.
