Full-size, hand-made round Crokinole Board from Canada. An addictive game made by the same maker and to the same standard as the boards used at the Crokinole World Championships.
The round boards are hand-made by the same craftshop as our Octagonal boards but in a more modern, practical style. There are quite a few places that make Crokinole boards in North America but you can be sure that these boards are excellent quality and will play perfectly.
The round boards have computer-generated markings for consistent quality and the playing surface has five to seven coats of finish and is buff finished. Although not as traditional looking as the Octagonal Crokinole board, boards of this specification are in great demand at many of the major tournaments due to its quick, smooth, fast surface with snappy shot reaction at an excellent price. Made for the fun of the game, with competition quality in mind.
Playing surface is Russian Baltic Birch. Backer and ditch is painted in dark green with matching lines. Pegs are covered with 2mm high-reflex rubber. Pieces and rules included. Please note that the colour of the pieces varies and we cannot say which colour pieces will be included with your board.
Diameter 79cm outside, 66cm playing surface
Diameter 31 inches outside, 26 inches playing surface
For our American and Canadian customers, the Octagonal boards are sent from a dispatch point in Canada and shipping is included.
Care of your Crokinole Board
Try to keep food and drink away from your crokinole games. Sticky fingers from food is the number one problem with the smooth running of the disks. In hot climates, sweaty fingers can also be an issue.
We recommend that you buff the Crokinole board every so often with a good wax. In Europe, Renaissance Wax is a good brand but any wax high in carnauba should work well.
It's a good idea to polish the game pieces as well - they're usually dirtier than the board surface because they come into direct contact with people's hands.
