Desktop Shut The Box

Also known as Canoga or "Batten down the Hatches", this is the old gambling game for as many players as you like. Players throw the dice and choose to shut either the numbers thrown or the sum of the numbers thrown.  Each player tries to close all the numbers and thus shut the box!

Desktop Shut the Box

New for 2008, this is an excellent version based on the extremely popular Coffee Table or Old Century Shut the Box. It has the same Olde Worlde style but is rather smaller and therefore a more economical option while sacrificing none of the good quality. This product was formerly called Circa Shut The Box.

The game is more of a chest than a box with a chain to hold the lid and a metal handle and clasp at the front. The numbers are chunky wooden panels with a decorative shield painted on the back of each and enclosed are rules and two wooden dice.

Dimensions are 20 x 15 x 7.5cm (8 x 6 x 3 inches)
