A shorter version of shuffleboard for children, the disabled or those who have difficulty in propelling the discs the full length of a standard court. You start scoring as soon as the disc crosses the game line. Players can shoot individually or alternately for a more competitive game. The cues have wheels instead of runners to make it easier for people to shoot the discs down the court.

The court can be assembled or dismantled in approximately 10 minutes and can be played indoors or out although we don't recommend you leave it outside in the rain. It is finished with a smart yellow bevelled edge which makes it easier to slide the discs back onto the court.

It measures 4'6" x 16'6" in total and is supplied with 8 smaller red and black discs , 4 easy-glide cues and a mini scoreboard.

The court breaks down in to 1ft square tiles for easy portability and storage.

The History of Shuffleboard

Shuffleboard or Shovelboard was originally an old English game played on the long dining tables of the aristocracy as an after-dinner entertainment. It was converted to be played on the deck of cruise liners towards the end of the 1800s to while away the long hours on board ship. This version of the game was called Deck Shuffleboard and it became very popular with colonists on their way across the Atlantic to the Americas. This in turn gave rise to the modern American version of the game where it is now known simply as Shuffleboard.
