Jaques Leisure Croquet Mallets
The mallets on this page (except the intermediate) are all full-size (37 x9 x 3 inches) and suitable for fun play in the back garden. The range can be confusing so we have tried to simplify it by providing this guide:

| Corrigrip | English made Ash handle with Jaques registered design handle grip. |
| Octagonal Ash Handle | English made Octagonal handle fitted with secret wedging system, lessening the chance of water penetration in damp conditions. |
| Hickory handle | English made octagonal handle made of the best material also with wedging system. |
| Takair | Colourful wind-on grip. |
| Heads | |

| English Ash | A light coloured traditional wood |
| Rockwood | A darker, slightly heavier wood |
| Rings | The best mallets are fitted with brass rings at either end of the mallet head. These help protect the mallet faces as well as providing additional weight. |
| Square/Round | Some players prefer round heads, some prefer square. The top of the range mallets are square. On this page, mallets are round head unless otherwise stated. |
Intermediate Mallet
 |
Inexpensive children's mallet - slightly shorter than the standard length at 33 inches. This is great for tweens and older children but may still be too big for very young children.
