Uber Championship Croquet Set in a component bag The Championship Croquet Set is a top quality croquet set from Uber Games which is unusual in that it features square head croquet mallets. Many expert croquet players feel that square mallet heads give them greater control over their shots and allow for more flexibility when adjacent to a hoop.

The Championship Croquet Set is a beautifully-crafted, durable set constructed of the highest quality materials. It comes with 2 different lengths of mallets to suit players of different heights. The heads are Rosewood with brass protection hoops to stop degradation.

The Championship Croquet Set is also supplied with exceptionally solid club style steel hoops with stability carrots and composite croquet balls as is consistent with the better croquet sets on the market. Composite balls are more durable than traditional wooden ones.

This Championship set is available in 3 different formats - in a nylon bag (pictured here), on a wooden croquet trolley stand or in a traditional wooden croquet box (see below). (The stand is supplied flat packed)

  • 4 square headed Rosewood mallets with brass protection and octagonal English Ash leather-bound handles
  • 2 x 97cm (38") mallets with handles 24cm (9 1/2") x 6cm (2 1/4")
  • 2 x 87cm (34") mallets with handles 24cm (9 1/2") x 6cm (2 1/4"), all weighing approximately 3lbs each
  • 4 16oz composite balls 9cm (3 5/8") in diameter
  • 6 Steel professional hoops with carrot (16mm diameter) 51cm (20") high, 10cm (4") wide
  • Hoops dipped to 21cm (8") to leave regulation 30cm (12") above ground
  • 1 Hoop “smasher” mallet with rubber head (important as the rubber protects the hoops)
  • 4 Corner flags with metal poles
  • 8 yard markers
  • 4 Coloured croquet clips
  • 1 Hardwood Centre peg with topper - - 3cm (1 ½") diameter, 56cm (22") high
  • 1 Hoop Drill (to create the carrot holes for the club hoops)
