Ashanti Stools

Primarily to accompany our large Oware tables, we are delighted to make available these African stools carved in the Ashanti style. They are robust and elegant seats with a stand that have been carved into a traditional African emblem.

The Gye Nyame symbol represents the omnipotence and immortality of God for the Ashanti tribe. A simple pattern that varies according to the whim of the craftsman is etched into parts of the exterior.

Our Ashanti stools are hand-made in Ghana from core hardwood of the Mahogany family.
