Bamboo Backed Mah Jong

Mah Jong or Mah Jongg is the traditional Chinese tile game now played the world over. Similar to rummy, the game of mah jong is easier to play than at first appears and is highly aesthetic to boot. You'll soon be addicted.

A Chinese-style set featuring tiles with sought-after bamboo backs. Tiles, counting sticks and dice all individually stored in wooden trays inside a durable Chinese-style carry case. The case is covered in an oriental fabric material with a floral or similarly patterned design and the clasps are simple toggles that go through fabric ties.

Tile size approx: 26 x 19 x 12 mm. Please note that while the tiles are excellent quality, the boxes are prone to having minor imperfections. In particular the lining paper sometimes has cosmetic marks or the odd crease. These are genuine Chinese material boxes and we regret that there isn't anything we can do to remediate minor flaws like these. If you need a pristine perfect box, we suggest you look at other Mah Jong sets in our range.

American customers beware - no jokers are included with this set and so versions of Mah Jong such as "Ghoulash" cannot be played.
