Jaques Mah Jong

Mah Jong or Mah Jongg is the traditional Chinese tile game now played the world over.  Similar to rummy, the game of mah jong is easier to play than at first appears and is highly aesthetic to boot. You'll soon be addicted.

The Jaques Mah Jong set is available in 2 forms. Most Chinese sets are made from modern compound materials and so we offer those typical tiles but we can also supply tiles which have a nylon based resin top half with traditional backing in solid bamboo wood. Whichever tiles you opt for, both sets are presented in a beautiful solid mahogany cabinet.

 

Tiles are 2.8cm x 2.1cm (1 1/8 x 13/16 inch) and are hand-engraved. Top half of each tile is white, and bottom half is bamboo or else a contrasting colour (colours may vary). Box is 45.5 x 26 x 5.5 cm (18x10x24 inches).

  • 3 Chinese dice
