The White Tower Chess SetThe White Tower Chess set is named after the oldest building within the grounds of the Tower of London, the most visited historic site in Britain famous for housing the Crown Jewels, Ravens and the Yeoman Warders (otherwise known as Beefeaters). The White Tower was originally built as a royal palace and fortress, but also served as a prison, a royal chapel, a record office and a large storehouse for arms, armour and gunpowder.
