The Crusades chess set depicts the battle between Christendom and Islam from the middle ages, made famous by the exploits of the crusader knights. In this chess set the characters have been brought to life through attention to detail in the decoration and original sculpting.
The regular Chess set comes in contrasting brown and ivory shades so that opposing pieces are easily distinguished. In the decorated version of the Chess set the clothing, weaponry and accessories have all been painstakingly hand-painted.
