A fantastic large Snakes and Ladders game that is ideal for younger children or nursery, primary and junior schools.

Snakes and Ladders is the well known children's race game that comes originally from an ancient Indian game of morality. These days snakes and ladders is a fun game that is enjoyed mostly by younger children! The large pieces move according to the throw of a large dice - if they land at the base of a ladder, they move up; if they land at the head of a snake, they slide back down.

As a bonus, the reverse features a chequerboard for the play of draughts or checkers, another game that is great for children. Another classic old game that children can easily learn and have fun with, there is a bit more depth to draughts which is simply a game where you try to capture your opponents pieces by hopping over them. Therefore it is also suitable for grown-ups and the set is a nice thing to have on the family gaming shelf.

The boards are large and colourful making them attractive to the younger generation and the pieces and the dice are big and chunky and so perfectly safe for tiny children.

Set includes MDF screen-printed board, twenty six painted wooden disks, rules and one large wooden die in a nice sturdy cardboard box. Note that colour selected for Draughts pieces may be different to those pictured.
