Children's Ludo and Nine Mens Morris

This is a wonderful double game that is ideal for younger children or nursery, primary and junior schools.

The boards are large and colourful making them attractive to the younger generation and the pieces are big and chunky and so perfectly safe for tiny children.

Ludo is the classic race game, a version of the ancient Indian game of Pachisi. The aim is to be the first player to get all 4 pieces to the home area in the middle. But in doing so, pieces can jump on other pieces and send them back to the beginning which is great fun.

Nine Mens Morris is another classic race game that goes back to medieval times. It's like a slightly more interesting version of tic tac toe or noughts and crosses - players just try to get 3 pieces in a row. But there is a bit more depth to the game and so it's interesting for adults as well as children.

Set includes MDF screen printed board, twenty six painted wooden disks, rules and a large wooden die in a nice sturdy cardboard box. Note that colour selected for 9 Mens Morris pieces may be different to those pictured.
