The game of Ludo means 'Play' and it's the archetypal children's game. It's a straightforward fun race game with the objective being to be the first to get all 4 of your pieces to home in the middle. Ludo pieces first have to make a circuit of the board and therein lies the fun as they can jump on other pieces en-route and send them back to the beginning. Ludo does therefore have a limited element of skill in deciding which piece to move each time.
This is a simple version of Ludo from Paul Lamond with a wooden Ludo board accompanied by wooden pieces in a box.
