If Africa were a nation, then Mancala would be the National Game of Africa. There are hundreds of versions of Mancala played throughout Asia and Africa and Awele is a popular version of the game. Originating in West Africa and also played to a high level in the Caribbean, it is now a familar sight across Europe and America. Awele is often played at competition level but is simple to learn and great for children, enhancing both maths and strategy skills, from 5 years upwards.

Sourced from Senegal, this game is made of beautiful natural wood with unique African carving.
